Crochet Pattern – Mushroom Friend

Size: approximately 9.5cm tall
What you need to prepare:
- Crochet hook (3.5mm)
- Acrylic yarn in white and coral red *yarn thickness approximately: 2.5mm*
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- Toy stuffing
Pattern notes:
- You'll need to know how to make a magic ring
- You'll be crocheting in continuous spirals (no joining rounds)
- Finished size may vary depending on the thickness of your yarn, hook size and tension
Abbreviations (US Crochet Terms):
mr - magic ring
ch – chain
st – stitch
sc – single crochet
inc – increase
dec – decrease
sl st – slip stitch
Body (in white):
Round 1: 6sc in magic ring, sl st to join round (6st)
Round 2: Inc x6 (12st)
Round 3: (sc,inc) x6 (18st)
Round 4: sc around (18st)
Round 5: sc around (18st)
Round 6: (7sc,dec) x2 (16st)
Round 7: sc around (16st)
Round 8: (6sc,dec) x2 (14st)
Round 9: sc around (14st)
Round 10: (5sc,dec) x2 (12st)

Round 11: sc around (12st)
Cut yarn. Using a yarn needle, weave in to hide yarn.
Round 1: 6sc in magic ring, sl st to join round (6st)
Round 2: Inc x6 (12st)
Round 3: (sc,inc) x6 (18st)
Round 4: sc around (18st)
Round 5: sc around (18st)
Round 6: (7sc,dec) x2 (16st)
Round 7: sc around (16st)
Round 8: (6sc,dec) x2 (14st)
Round 10: (5sc,dec) x2 (12st)

Head (in coral red):
Round 1: 6sc in magic ring, sl st to join round (6st)
Round 2: Inc x6 (12st)

Round 7: sc around (24st)

Cut yarn while leaving a tail for sewing. Sew the head at the top of the body.
Arms x2 (in white):
Round 1: 6sc in magic ring, sl st to join round (6st)
Round 2-5: sc around (6st)
Cut yarn while leaving a tail for sewing. Sew arms at the sides of the body.
Legs x2 (in white):
Round 1: 6sc in magic ring, sl st to join round (6st)
Round 2-6: sc around (6st)
Cut yarn while leaving a tail for sewing. Sew legs at the bottom of the body.
